I've had a couple of my friends comment on a neat counting chart idea I found online. Here's a picture of ours. We keep it posted on our kitchen cabinet where my almost 4-year-old daughter sees it on a daily basis. She helped look around the house finding items to use and it was a fun project to work on together.

Here's what you need to make yours:
- Large piece of cardboard (back of construction paper, cut out from box, etc.)
- Find items around your house that you no longer need in increments of 1-10.
- Black marker
- Heavy-duty tape (i.e. packing tape)

Thanks for posting this! I have been trying to remember what you had on your counting chart ever since the last playdate.
This is such a good idea!
Great idea! Do you have a Mr. Linky so we can add our info?

I've added the Mister Linky, so I hope this makes it easier to share your ideas.
This is such a great idea! I think when my kids go back to school, I'll actually have time to work on these fun little learning things to reinforce what they got at school. Thanks!!
