I went back to CVS today to get a few more deals that I had figured out. My brain can only take so much of this - I am not a math major... With only $1.29 OOP, here's what I got:
I made a mistake today... you'll see it below.
Transaction #1
- Chex Mix (2 bags) - 2/$3 - 2 printable MFR Q's $1/1 = $1/2
- Dawn Liquid Soap (3) - $.88/1 - 3 8/3 P&G Q's $.50/1 = $1.14/3
- Oral-B Advantage Toothbrush (4) - $2.49/1 - 4 8/3 P&G Q's $1/1 = $5.96/4
Total Sale = $15.60 - $9.50 in Q's - $5.79 in ECB's = $.68 w/tax OOP
Earned $6.00 in ECB's
Transaction #2
- Crest Toothpaste (3) - $2.49/1 - 3 8/3 P&G $.75/1 = $5.22/3
- Trident Gum - $1.19
Total Sale = $8.66 - $2.25 in Q's - $6.00 in ECB's = $.61 w/tax OOP
I thought I would earn $4.50 in ECB's, but the limit was 5 on combination of Crest Toothpaste & Oral-B Toothbrushes. Next time I'll do my homework on the limitations of ECB's...
I also got a raincheck for the Pert Plus 2 in 1 and Sure Deodorant, which were both out of stock. My CVS would not allow the BOGO Q for Covergirl Makeup and since I was going to give it all away anyways, I didn't get any.
