I couldn't resist this picture...Coupons are wonderful, and coupon gaming is so much fun to me! I love the challenge of saving more than I'm spending on any given purchase. God has blessed our family this past month through all of the information I've learned and all of you bloggers who have taught me so much about how to be a good steward of our money.
Our family's goal is just that. We've been tremendously blessed financially in almost every spectrum of our lives together. To be able to do the same for someone else would be an even greater blessing to us.
So, in an attempt to cut costs wherever we can, several weeks ago, I challenged myself to only fill up the gas tank every 2 weeks. Surprisingly, I've kept pretty close to that for about 6 weeks now. The only exception is if we decide to go on a day trip, which we did a couple of weekends ago, but otherwise, it feels good to save and stay home (at least close to home) most days.

Hey Steph-I use coupons, too. Love it when our local groceries have Triple coupon day.
We also purchase Angel Food box to help our grocery bill. Most of the food is good quality and it saves on our meat purchases!
I also buy more store brands for some items than I used to...

My name is Stephanie as well and I LOVE reading your blog. I have a blog but am still lost with it lol. My 99 cents store carries fruits & veggies. I got 3 bag fulls of pears, oranges & peaches. I also got 2 red peppers for 99 cents. I love clearance so much I should have named my son Clearance lol.

Thanks for your comment! Oh to have a triple coupon or even double coupon store nearby... None of our grocers offer that kind of a deal, but at least we have Publix who takes competitor coupons.

How great to have a $.99 store with fruits and vegetables. What amazing deals! Even our farmer's market is not closeby, so I'm forced to buy from our local Publix store. I try to buy sale produce though and take advantage of the seasonal items. It keeps the menu interesting!
