So, my tip for today as it gets cooler outside is to simply spend some time outdoors with your kids. God's creation is one of our best tools for learning and teaching!
We have a kiddie table in our back yard, which the kids sat at and we did school. Even if you don't have a table, porch, etc, throw a blanket on the grass and have a fruitful school time outside today!
Here is a picture of our craft for the day.We made little brooms out of the pine needles that continue to fall in our back yard. It was a great opportunity to teach the kids how God has given us so much in nature to enjoy. We're also collecting the pine cones that fall for a Christmas arrangement in the winter!
I just LOVE the outdoors this time of year!!!

Oh that would be a great project, since we have a billion pine needles in our yard too! What did you tie them with?
We just used string. They are currently used them to sweep out their playhouse. :) My oldest daughter calls them angels. I'm trying to think of how I can use pine cones or pine needles to make Christmas ornaments with them this year. :)
