I have been hearing about Magic Jack for a few months now, and like always, I like to find out how other people's experience is before I try it for myself...
That being said, with this FREE 1-month trial, I am definitely going to check it out. I plan on keeping my current phone service just in case... I've heard there are some quirks about it with clicking noises during phone calls, but I've also heard that it can be remedied if you simply unplug your Magic Jack from your computer at night.
Magic Jack simply plugs into your computer's USB port and you can choose your own phone number (whether it's local to you or your family in another town). It's your choice! There are some really great options with Magic Jack. I'll let you know what I think.

Also, Radio Shack offers them for $39.99. They have a $10/$40 in most Entertainment books. This is how I got mine!
