It's been forever since I've posted a menu plan. In our house, we've all begun to fall into a summer schedule and are living life a bit more leisurely these days. Thus, the weekly menu has not been what it ought to be. I notice I tend to desire to eat out more when the menu isn't planned, which in turn causes a higher cost in our food budget. That needs to get nipped in the bud!
So, here's my Menu Plan for the week:
(We start on Thursdays because it's always been my grocery shopping day.)
Day 1:
- Breakfast: Cereal w/Milk & Fruit
- Lunch: Mac & Cheese w/Peas & Homemade Applesauce

Our household has noticed the same trend. It seems when we don't have a menu plan we eat more ready to eat foods or dining out than we would normally.
