Menu Plan Thursday!

So, here's my menu plan for this week. I'm going back to some of our family's favorites and adding a few new recipes as well. In case you were wondering, the quinoa recipe from last week was delish!

BREAKFAST:
(Any other days will probably be cereal or oatmeal.)

LUNCH:
(We will rotate through these lunches this week. I know it's pretty boring, but it's for the kids and this is what they like!)
  • Turkey Sandwiches w/Lettuce & Cheese, Greek Yogurt, Pretzels, & Apple/Pear
  • Homemade Macaroni & Cheese (packed in a thermos) w/Trail Mix, Carrot Sticks, & Grapes
  • PB&J Sandwiches, Cheesestick, Homemade Applesauce, & Carrot Sticks
DINNER:
  • Date Night "In" w/Hubby - We'll order in from one of our favorite restaurants. (Kids get something simple for dinner & go to bed early!)
  • Homemade Tomato Soup w/Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
  • Homemade Pasta w/German Meatballs & Steamed Broccoli
    (My oldest daughter recently took a cooking class with a friend and made homemade pasta, so we'll be trying it again at home! Hopefully it turns out as good as it did in class...)
  • Pasta w/Escarole, White Beans & Chicken Sausage for potluck at church
  • Black Bean Burgers Topped w/Salsa
  • Nachos Night - I'll be topping tortilla chips with refried beans, cheddar cheese, green onions, black olives, tomatoes, salsa, and sour cream. - You pick your toppings!
  • Curried Chicken Salad on Whole Wheat Bagel & Chips
