My CVS & Walgreens Shopping Trip

There were a few deals I wanted to take advantage of at the drugstores this week, so I went out after church so that I would be sure to get them on the first day of the sale. I started off my shopping trip with $8.54 in EB's for CVS and $12.00 in RR's for Walgreens.

Here's my CVS Shopping Trip Results:

I purchased these 3 items in one transaction. Here's the breakdown:

  • Neutrogena Ultimate Sport Sunblock Lotion (2): $9.99/1 - 2 $2/1 Printable HERE = Paid $15.98/2
  • Lady Speed Stick w/Stainguard (1): $2.99/1 - $.50/1 from 5/1 SmartSource = Paid $2.49/1
I used the $3 off $10 Healthcare Purchase coupon I received when I scanned my CVS card at the coupon center. The cashier actually reminded me of it as I wasn't sure I could use it on these items.

I also used my $8.54 in Extra Bucks that I had from a previous week.

Final OOP = $8.43 (including tax)
Total EB's Received = $12.00

Here's my Walgreens Shopping Trip Results:

This was another one transaction trip. I love it when don't have to do multiple transactions! This was all about my husband. I think we're stocked up on some items! Here's the breakdown:
  • Gillette Body Wash (3): 3/$10 - 3 $2/1 from 5/15 RedPlum = Paid $4/3

I used my (4) $3 RR's toward this purchase.

Total RR's Received = $3.00

My CVS Deals!

Well, I didn't need much at CVS this week, but I couldn't pass up the 6 boxes of FREE SoyJoy bars!! In fact I ran into a girlfriend while I was shopping and she was there for the very same thing! :) My personal favorite is the Strawberry.

At a cost of $6/each and you receive a $6 ECB/each, this cost me $6 out of pocket and I left with $6 ECB's. That's right, NO tax. This is a pretty simple transaction and VERY easy if you're new to the CVS game.

I did purchase these in 6 different transactions to use the ECB's toward the next box. If you find a line is forming behind you, simply tell the cashier that you'll get back in line so that you don't frustrate the cashier and are considerate to those in line behind you. Afterall, most people come to a convenience store for, well, convenience. They don't want to wait in line for 15 minutes while someone in front of them does several transactions.

My Publix, Walgreens, & CVS Deals!

Okay y'all, I have to give you a word picture of what I am doing as I type this out... I am sitting on my cozy sofa with a bowl of scrumptious Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino ice cream that I just got super cheap. Such is the life! Oh, and the kids are in quiet time for an hour while I get this post up.

Can you believe I bought all of this today at all 3 stores for only $39.26 out of pocket?! That's a fun shopping trip! This is why I do what I do. Compared to the $150 + that we used to spend on groceries and toiletries, we have so much money left over. How refreshing to know that God can use that money for His purposes.
