First of all, I love your blog! It is so great and helpful!

Now to the sad news:
I don't know why, but I tried to go to 3 different Walgreens today to buy aquafresh toothpaste and none of them would take the ESQ AND the IPQ. The second coupon would not even scan into their system. One cashier said it was because the second coupon would make the coupon free and their system did not allow that. Another said that the second coupon would be paying for tax and that was not allowed. And the last cashier said that sometimes both coupons scan and sometimes they don't. I'm really new to this couponing thing so I am now really confused and discouraged (I thought I was going to get some great deals and then I didn't :( ) Is this maybe just a policy for my area (Phoenix)?

Not sure if your Walgreens has it on sale, but the stores in the Chattanooga area have Colgate on sale BOGO $2.79. With the coupon that you posted a while back for $1.50/1 it will be FREE, plus an overage of 10 or 11 cents per tube!!!!

I'm a bit frustrated for you. Walgreen's corporate policy is to accept a Walgreens coupon with a manufacturer coupon. Check their store policy under "Store Coupon Policies" on the left hand side of this blog. There is a number listed there that you can call if you have any issues with your cashier. I have spoken to them about this, so if you have any problems with your local store, I would definitely call them. They will straighten things out for you.

The only reason I could imagine there being an issue is if you purchased only that one item. If there is an overage with your coupons, you need to make up for it. Buy something for $.25 along with it if you can. The register will always beep and not accept if you have an overage. I hope this helps!

Unfortunately, the coupon is no longer available. Thanks for the tip though! For any who saved the pdf document, you should be able to continue to print and use the coupon. Just be sure to purchase another item to make up for any overage you may receive.

I copied the Colgate coupon and saved it in a word document if you would like for me to send it to you :). It doesn't expire until 12/31/10, so I'm glad I saved it!!!

Thanks, Heather! I actually did save it. :) Glad you got it. It's a fabulous high dollar Q! I'm guessing it's available online at HotCouponWorld or other sites like them if anyone else needs it.
