Target Secrets Revealed!

Part of my love for blogging is also reading and learning from other bloggers. It's hard to "know it all," so when I can grab tips from other knowledgeable bloggers, I like to share them here!

Here's a great video I recently found from Tara over at Deal Seeking Mom! Click HERE to hear her tips on how you can print Target coupons in-store! I had no idea!! She also mentions the secret of shopping the end-caps (where all the clearance items are found) and the perimeter of the store first. I'm beginning to love Target more and more. :) Tara, you did great!!

My 1st Target Deal

I'm not much of a Target Coupon Gamer, but when I saw the 4/$11 Kashi Cereal in the Target newspaper insert this week, I had to do it. I received a small booklet of Kashi coupons recently (by signing up through Kashi's website) and they worked great with this Target offer!

Here's the Breakdown:

Purchased 4 boxes of Kashi GoLean Crunch Cereal (15 oz)
Used $2/1 MFR Q & 3 $1/1 MFR Q

Total OOP = $6.00
Received $5.00 Target Gift Card

After Gift Card, these 4 boxes of cereal were $1.00!!

Target Coupon Policy

In an effort to give you easy access to all the information you need, please visit Target's online Corporate Coupon Policy HERE. It's important in the coupon game, to use our coupons in an honest way so that we do not harm the reputation of stores or brands.

Here is Target's (abbreviated) Official Coupon Policy:

When accepting coupons, Target uses the following guidelines:
  • We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued and manufacturer-issued.
  • We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.
  • We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in this case, we're able to adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.
  • We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
  • All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier while you're checking out.
For questions about using a specific coupon, we encourage you to stop by Guest Service and ask to speak with the Guest Service Team Leader. They'll do their best to help while you're in the store. If you still have questions after speaking with them, please call our Guest Relations team at (800) 440-0680. Either way, we're here to help!
