My favorite thing this week has been a wonderful tool in teaching our children about the Bible. I purchased this Read & See DVD Bible at Sam's Club about 2 years ago when I decided I was going to homeschool. Our kids love watching movies, but I don't like having them sit in front of a TV for 2 hours watching mind-numbing stuff. So, I figured this was a good alternative.It turned out to be an excellent way for them to visualize and really remember some great Bible stories and learn new Bible songs too. The entire DVD is probably 3 hours long, but my daughters will watch it from start to end if I let them!
There are few DVD's that I recommend for learning tools, and this is at the top of my list. Others would probably include the Leap Frog Talking Letter Factory, Talking Words Factory, etc...I've included a link to Amazon if you click on the picture and are interested in getting one for yourself.
