My Publix Deals!!!!

I recently heard a comment that some do not appreciate seeing others "deals" on their blog and take it as a bragging-rights type of attitude. I hope you don't think that of me. The reason why I post my deals, and will continue to post my deals is so that hopefully you can see how you can also snatch up these deals. For the new coupon gamers, I hope that seeing the rewards of simply cutting and printing a few coupons for a BIG savings is motivation for you to save as well.

So, here goes! I had my best savings yet at Publix this week! With the Kellogg's coupons, I was able to stock up BIG TIME on some cereal. Since my husband was not so keen on the Kashi (it tasted like cardboard to him), he should be pleased to see some sweet good ole' fashioned Kellogg's cereal in our cupboards this week.

My husband likes the Kashi cereal. How? He is a man after all.

He puts honey on it.
That gives it flavor and sweetness and honey is good for you too.

Did ya'll try it with honey on top?

I have a question - how can you use 2 whole foods coupons at the same time. I have never done that and didn't know you could! Can you tell me how you do it? Oh - and I LOVE seeing how good people do with their savings - brag on!

Thanks!

Sarah

Mrs., We never tried the honey, but if he's desperate for that night snack, I'll tell him to try it. :) Thanks for the tip!

Sarah, My Publix store manager told me that it was not necessary to split up the transactions and spend more time for me and the cashier. Rather, she said that it was okay to use multiple $/$$ Q's so long as the total (before coupons) added up to the total needed for the Q. So, since my total was over $100, I used a $10/$50 CVS Q, $5/25 Whole Foods, & another $5/$25 Whole Foods. The total for the Q's was $100 for the amount taken off. Does that make sense? Check with your store manager to see if they will also accept this method! You never know unless you ask.

How were you able to use so many Food Lion coupons? The ones I've printed state you can only print them once and the soup coupons state one coupon, per person, per day. Thx!

I love it when bloggers show pictures and details about their shopping deals. It gives me a visual and actually makes it easier for me to remember when I run to the store to score some of the same deals. So keep them coming. :)

Great job!!

I started blogging my deals because I found reading about other people's deals helped EDUCATE me on how to save money! Thanks for being one of those helpers for me!
