My BIG Shopping Trip & Savings!

Since it's been a crazy week, I wasn't able to head out to the stores until today. However, that allowed me to take advantage of early savings at Walgreens and CVS. All in all, I think the total trip (well-planned out) took about 1 1/2 hours with 3 kids!
With my lists in hand, here's how I did:

I'll start with my favorite deal, which just happened to be at Target! Can you believe I got all these for just $.29/box?! Find out how below:
Here's the Breakdown:
Target's store coupons state, "one coupon per transaction," so you'll have to do these in separate transactions. It was worth it for me and my cashier was great about letting me!


Now, on to My Publix Deals:
TOTAL IN GROCERIES = $68.72
Total Savings in Coupons = $28.69

Total Savings in Advertised Sales = $20.67
TOTAL SAVINGS = $49.36
TOTAL OOP = $19.36

  • Broccoli Head (2): $2/1 - 2 $1/1 Target IPQ = Paid $2/2 ($1/each)
  • Bananas: $.69/lb = Paid $1.50
  • Hood Simply Smart Milk (2): $3.59/1 - $1/1 Blinky or 1/4 SS = Paid $5.18/2 ($2.59/each)
  • Weight Watchers Smart Ones (5): $2/1 - $1/5 IPQ = Paid $9/5 ($1.80/each)
  • Progresso Beef Broth (2): BOGO $2.59 - 2 $1.25/1 IPQ = Paid $.09/2 ($.05/each)
  • Progresso Soup (2): $1.25/1 - 2 $1.10/1 IPQ = Paid $.30/2 ($.15/each)
  • Publix Saltines: $1.95/1 = Paid $1.95/1
  • Juicy Juice, 64 oz (4): BOGO $3.49 - $1/2 All You Q - $.50/2 1/4 SS = Paid $5.68/4 ($1.42/each)
  • Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, 14.5 oz: $1.49/1 - FREE mailer Q = FREE
  • Publix Applesauce: $2.65/1 = Paid $2.65/1
  • Revlon Emery Boards: $1.89/1 - $2.50/1 Green Publix Flier Q = FREE
  • Revlon Tweezer: $2.49/1 - $2.50/1 Green Publix Flier Q = FREE
Used a recently mailed $5/$30 Publix Q and $5/$30 CVS CRT.

  • Theraflu (2): 2/$10 - 2 $2/1 IPQ = Paid $6/2 ($6 ESR) = FREE/2
  • Walgreens Nutritional Drink: $4/1 = Paid $4/1 ($4 ESR) = FREE
  • Revlon Age Defying Concealer: $9.99 - $2/1 2/8 SS = Paid $7.99 ($10 ESR) = $2 Money Maker!
  • Thermacare Heatwrap, Trial size: $2.49 = Paid $2.49 ($2.49 ESR) = FREE
  • Tilex, 16 oz (2): 2/$6 - 2 $.50/1 IPQ = Paid $5/2 ($2 RR) = $3/2 ($1.50/each)
Total after Rebates is $1 OOP!!

And finally, I am loving this CVS deal on my favorite paper towels!! My sister-in-law got me hooked on this brand years ago, but when I started coupon shopping it didn't fit in the budget. I'm excited to stock up on this ultra strong and easy to use paper towel.

How do you get those $5 off of $30? I never get these in the mail. I only get baby club Q's.
