My CVS & Walgreens Shopping Trip

There were a few deals I wanted to take advantage of at the drugstores this week, so I went out after church so that I would be sure to get them on the first day of the sale. I started off my shopping trip with $8.54 in EB's for CVS and $12.00 in RR's for Walgreens.

Here's my CVS Shopping Trip Results:

I purchased these 3 items in one transaction. Here's the breakdown:

I used the $3 off $10 Healthcare Purchase coupon I received when I scanned my CVS card at the coupon center. The cashier actually reminded me of it as I wasn't sure I could use it on these items.

I also used my $8.54 in Extra Bucks that I had from a previous week.

Final OOP = $8.43 (including tax)

This was another one transaction trip. I love it when don't have to do multiple transactions! This was all about my husband. I think we're stocked up on some items! Here's the breakdown:

If you're not familiar with price matching at Target, here's the simple way it works. Bring a current local competitor ad to your Target, i.e. Dollar General in my case today, and Target will price match the item (after coupons are applied).

My receipts looked a little goofy as I was typing this up, and it seems that the Lubriderm actually rang up as Buy One, Get One instead of 50% off advertised deal. Also, be sure to check the January coupon booklet coupon as mine seemed to sometimes ring up as $.50 off instead of $1 off. Maybe it's just been a long day, but my receipt is confusing me... You'll probably just want to check your receipt before you leave the store to be sure everything rings up accurately.

Grabbed a few freebies and Walgreens while I was out as well!

BandAids are on sale at Walgreens 2/$3. I used 2 $3/2 Johnson & Johnson First Aid product Blinky Q's that I found at Publix a while back. Therefore, I paid $0 out of pocket!

If you have these blinkies, be sure to grab this deal! If you don't need BandAids, consider donating them to mission trips. These are usually always welcome and because of their small size, they pack in a suitcase easily.
