Since you've highlighted Publix on this deal, you could've used a $1.00 Flatouts coupon from their in-store quarterly, Healthy Meals Healthy Kids. Also in that issue was $1.00 off Buddig Deli Cuts which they had marked down to $2.50 in their stores for the last month and $.55 off manufacturer's instant saving coupons. End result there, only $.72 per half-pound. Both of those are still in my fridge as fresh as the day that I bought them (sell-by dates not until April and May). This week whole heads of cabbage are only $.25 at Publix instead of $2+ per bag for ruffage. Now your end result price is about $4 total. (Grapes on the side are only $.99 per pound, seedless reds at Sav-A-Lot.)

Oh yeah, I only pay $1.30 per gallon for my gasoline to get the groceries as well by using the gasolineclub.info fuel saving club.
